An LEI transfer is an administrative move that changes the provider managing your LEI service. It is simply a change in how your data is managed, rather than a change to the data itself, ensuring your regulatory reporting remains seamless.
The only things that change are your service provider and your renewal price. You keep the same LEI code and entity history, while the service is managed through LEI24.
Your transfer LEI code—the 20-character alphanumeric identifier—remains exactly the same. Your entity history and all previous filings remain linked to this code; only the administrative “Home” moves to LEI24.

Whether your status is currently “Issued” or “Lapsed,” we can help arrange the transfer.
If your code is still active, you can move to us at any time. You may wish to initiate the transfer before expiry so there is time to review the record and plan the renewal.
